The National Collegiate Marching Band Championship Bowl is an annual festival in Columbia, South Carolina to foster healthy competition and goodwill among collegiate marching bands across the United States. Our goal is to increase awareness of the significant role of college marching bands in American culture, while encouraging participation and support from both the public and private sectors.

Championship Bowl

The National Collegiate Marching Band Championship Bowl will consist of competition and also exhibition by non-competing bands. Although technical aspects will be included, scoring will be based more heavily on the college brand of entertainment value. All participating bands will be asked to include a two-to-three minute performance (non-judged) at the beginning of their show to promote each university’s spirit and individuality.

If you are involved in marching bands, get involved by taking our survey! High school or middle schools may use our festival ticket sales as a fundraising tool. Contact us at or phone us for more information.
